Ensemble/Performers:
University Men's Chorus
On Saturday, October 2nd, male high school students from the greater Houston area, along with the University of Houston Men's Chorus, tackled new music and performed together during The Moores School's first-ever ManChoir event.
Along with the 50-voice University Men's Chorus, over 80 young men from 12 Houston-area high schools participated the workshop. It was truly spectacular to see and hear over 130 men singing on the stage of the Moores Opera House. Our esteemed clinician/conductor for the day was Dr. Jonathan Reed of Michigan State University, who skillfully guided this ManChoir through a successful, powerful performance to conclude the day.
