Concert
Women's Chorus
Dr. Kelly J.
Turner, director
A
select chorus of intermediate to advanced choral singers,
specializing in serious repertoire for women's voices.
This ensemble provides advanced training in general
musicianship and collaborative singing, while giving
its members outstanding performance opportunities. In
addition to its own performance schedule, the Concert
Women's Chorus joins the school's other large choral
ensembles in the department's annual Oratorio Concert.
The
CWC has, in its short history, established itself as
an outstanding choral ensemble. The group has been featured
at conventions before the membership of the Texas Music
Educators Association and Southwest Division of the
American Choral Directors Association.
